Greetings PATA supporters, volunteers, Ethiopian Airlines and the Ethiopian Consulate.

In March 2014, a celebration was held in honor of Colonel John Charles Robinson, an African American and Ethiopian Hero, at the U.S. Embassy in Ethiopia with a proclamation.

Col. John C. Robinson is referred to by some as the Father of Ethiopian Airlines while others refer to him as the Father of the Tuskegee Airmen. This celebration not only recognizes and honors Col. John C. Robinson, but the many Ethiopians and African Americans who are great flyers, pilots and aviators because of Col. Robinson’s instruction.

Following are the images from the memorial luncheon, which was held at the residence of H.E. Girma Wolde Giorgis.
